Located in Guyancourt on the impressive Crédit Agricole campus called SQY Park, the new offices of CA-GIP, whose atmosphere was chosen as part of a co-construction approach within the company, are both innovative and in tune with the times. This new atypical working environment created by the team in charge of real estate projects at CA-GIP, in collaboration with Hexagone, calls for an explosive mixture between the spatial universe and the vegetable world. Curious?
employees at the heart of the project
Accompanied by Agnès Nouel, Oxygen Consulting architect and project manager, and Thomas SILVA, CA-GIP project manager, we will show you around.
“What we wanted to put in place was an identity specific to CA-GIP: that we could recognize the CA-GIP atmosphere at first glance... the reflections carried out around the project aimed to highlight a strong identity while prioritizing the comfort of employees... we wanted everyone to feel good about it”.
In order to create a space in the image of CA-GIP employees, they fully participated in choosing the ambiance of their future workspaces:
“Different worlds were proposed to employees through a survey, a little over a year before the delivery of the new spaces. The project selected was one focused on the technological world, in shades of blue.” explains the architect.

It is therefore this technological universe that has been the common thread of spaceplanning. From the entrance, the printed circuit-like window displays on all the glass surfaces set the tone.
Proxima, Gravity, Interstellar... the meeting and brainstorming rooms are all named after sci-fi movies. Starry false ceilings further highlight the space universe in the cocoons named after French astronauts. An elegant and intense blue has been used in all spaces: an atmosphere worthy of NASA offices.
Coworking space, cocoons, meeting and brainstorming rooms... the platform has been designed to adapt to new work patterns. Temporary employees will find a place for the day, and permanent teams will benefit from workstations adapted to each type of mission.
At the end of a small corridor, we arrive in an informal hybrid space where comfortable sofas, cabin seats and high tables mingle. A friendly space to chat with colleagues over a good coffee. In the office but just like at home: the new standard for workspaces. For this project, based on the specific needs and requests expressed by CA-GIP, hexagon has developed a triptych of tables: a first with rotating writing panels, a second with lighting for a warm atmosphere and a last one decorated with shelves ideal for displaying the most beautiful team photos! Each set consists of four fixed tables and two height-adjustable posts. Finally, in order to adapt to the uses of the flex office, hexagone has designed lockers perfectly integrated into the benches in order to place the compartmentalized cases intended to store the belongings of employees. Each evening, these cases will be stored in connected lockers, placed at the entrance of the open-space. Upon arrival, the employee will only have to retrieve his briefcase from his locker to slide it into the dedicated compartment once installed at his desk.
keep it simple while being disruptive...
We find this state of mind in the choice of carpet, a gray gradient, and white furniture but not only... a subtle and harmonious blend.
“During a brainstorming session with the French team, we were unanimous on the white color of the furniture but were looking for a way to break the too uniform and classical aspect. To add a touch of character and chic, we therefore set up anthracite fields on all desks and tables.”
Fields that highlight the angles and lines of the furniture: a perfect reminder of the workshop windows that structure the top. A typical living and decorative element that creates spaces while maintaining the depth of field and allowing light to flow.
elegance and functionality of hexagon solutions at CA-GIP
Half-height acoustic partitions promote exchanges between employees and allow the numerous computer cables to be elegantly hidden. For the office partitions in the large brainstorming room, Hexagone was able to find the perfect mottled beige to match the colors of the room. Everything has been designed to maintain an orderly and pleasant workspace.
French manufacturing has been honored at CA-GIP with hexagon meeting benches and tables, custom storage, metal planters and side stools made of recycled fabrics.
Plants play an important role in CA-GIP workspaces. In tall planters or to cover the building's structural posts, the architect wanted to add plants to warm up the tech atmosphere. A perfect reminder of the surrounding greenery of this ground floor. A modern CA-GIP project, integrating Hexagone's know-how and perfectly reflecting new working habits (teleworking, flex office, friendly informal spaces) where a warm atmosphere reigns. We would have liked to stay there to work a bit longer! Thanks to CA-GIP for its trust.
Big thanks to the French team for this great collaboration. It was a great opportunity to be able to develop furniture specially in the image of CAGIP, and that in a given time.
