For the fifth episode of Les Portraits Hexagone we are sharing with you the interview with Valentine Schroeter.
Valentine is the head of the Hexagone marketing team. She juggles the subtleties of marketing and the communication of our brand. Her attention to detail knows no bounds, it's impressive at times how she thinks about everything. Her ability to analyze every nuance means that each project she orchestrates is meticulously designed, reflecting both her creativity and her sense of organization. Besides, for once she's the one who comes in front of the camera 😉
Valentine is a bit like the mom of the team, she always has a small attention for her colleagues and has an unsuspected hidden talent.
What is your name and what do you do for a living?
My name is Valentine Schroeter, I am responsible for communication and marketing at hexagon.
If you had to describe yourself in 3 words?
Creative, tenacious, and empathetic.
What is your hidden talent?
I have lots of them 😉 that's not true! I know how to make real masterpieces with stickers.
Tea or coffee?
Coffee
Your favorite designer?
It's Margaux Keller. We also love her latest collaboration with Hartô for her cute little plump bean bag. I really like what she does.
An iconic design piece if only one had to mention?
The Pipistrello lamp by Martinelli. It is an object that is very dear to me because it is the first design piece that was given to me, which my mother gave me by the way, so it necessarily has a special place in my heart.
Beautiful or durable?
Communication professions in general, we only talk about beauty. It is precisely a challenge to add a real concept of sustainability to it, so I would say beautiful and sustainable just like all my colleagues. It is certainly not me who will decide on the issue.
What does sustainability in workspaces mean to you?
Sustainability effectively involves upcycling and reuse, but also through the materials we choose and use. But I think that there is also a very important concept of timelelessness. We must not get tired of our layout too quickly. Just as you would put a club chair at home that you would still love 30 years later, it must improve over time and be imbued with good emotions. I think that this notion of timelessness is fundamental to sustainability at work.
If you had to end with one word, what would it be?
Thank you 😉 I wish you all a very happy holiday season and then we'll see you next year with Hexagone!
