The Volubilis House
A unique place for exhibition and living welcoming a careful selection of brands around furniture and office furniture. This house is a unique showcase of all the know-how in the sector.
On Thursday, May 23, our evening took place on the theme of eco-design and sustainable furniture, highlighting the Beluga chair by Polimair, the first chair 100% made of recycled plastic, recently exhibited in Milan.
This big evening started with a conference. The opportunity for you to meet the founders of Polimair, Léo and Arthur Gaudenz, who reviewed the eco-design process and discussed the brand's future plans, but also Camille Cousté, co-founder of Eco Impact, who gave us the latest information on sector regulations, in particular on AGEC and Climate and Resilience laws, while addressing the furniture life cycle illustrated by our upcycling solution with Hexagreen By hexagon.
This exchange was followed by a gourmet cocktail with our famous view of the Eiffel Tower. An event full of sharing experiences and exchanges on the challenges of tomorrow where our guests were able to discover and test the Beluga chair but also the various prototypes on display.
Supporting companies looking for eco-friendly materials to create the furniture of tomorrow is one of the values we want to transmit. With the creation of our hexagreen solution (link to solution page), we are in a position to offer layouts that not only meet your expectations precisely but also contribute to the enhancement of our environment.
A look back at this evening rich in encounters in images:
“This is a law that will greatly change things in France to work better with products but also to increase the resilience of French people in the face of climate change. Article 2 of this law (Climate and Resilience Law) initiated the environmental labelling project on all everyday consumer products with, over time, scores on clothing, food, furniture and cosmetics.”
Camille Cousté, co-founder of Eco Impact
“We wanted to work around 4 main pillars: 100% recycled and recyclable plastic, 100% guaranteed for life. The objective is to work locally so it is 100% Made in France with plastic that is consumed, sorted, recycled in France that we will be able to use. And finally, 100% customizable.”
Léo Gaudenz, co-founder of Polimair
